Take to the Stand - To Pre-Nup or not to Pre-Nup?
This month, Beech Jones’ senior partner Paul Dumbleton was invited to join the team at the newly launched women’s lifestyle magazine, Gossip, as their resident legal columnist. Each month Paul will share his legal expertise with female readers, offering advice on a spectrum of female-focused legal issues.
Gossip magazine launched this week following an exclusive launch event held at Rococo which attracted a myriad of celebrity and VIP guests. Blazing an editorial trail, in its first edition, Gossip secured a coveted exclusive interview with Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall and another with Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton. Along with the exclusive celebrity interviews the magazine covers legal advice, star secrets, fashion and beauty tips and topical news stories.
Each month Paul’s legal column, ‘Take to the Stand’, will tackle legal dilemmas many women face day-to–day. The legal Goliath opened his column this month with a feature covering pre-nuptial agreements – a topic that has recently dominated the headlines following the break-up of Katie Price and Peter Andre. The column addresses the misconceptions surrounding pre-nups, clarifying why and when couples should seek one.
Gossip editor Emma Hill commented “We’re delighted that Paul has agreed to contribute to the magazine each month and has become our resident legal expert. He is an esteemed and renowned lawyer with years of legal experience and expert knowledge and his input into the magazine will undoubtedly benefit our female readers. We look forward to Paul’s column each month and enjoy working with the friendly and professional team at Beech Jones de Lloyd.”
