Footballing luminary, Ian Rush was guest of honour at Kingsmead School, Hoylake last night for an exclusive ‘Evening With…’ event hosted by local solicitors Beech Jones De Lloyd.

The ex LFC striker and Welsh international was invited to Kingsmead where guests were treated to a Q&A session with the sporting star. The exclusive invite-only evening was in aid of Ian’s nominated charity Claire House with all money raised in a collection going to the Children’s Hospice...

Daleside Nursing Home forms part of an expanding group of Care Homes being run by Beech Jones Law’s client Kate Armstrong Shone. As with all Kate’s homes, it is being run to the highest standards. In addition to providing a good living environment for up to thirty-two older residents, Daleside provides a happy, safe and friendly working environment for all of its employees.

It therefore came as a huge shock to Kate when Daleside faced an Employment Tribunal Claim brought by a disaffected nurse. This former employee alleged that she had been the victim of racial abuse and had been constructively unfairly dismissed...

On 18 November 2008 The Honourable Mr Justice Wyn Williams, sitting in the High Court, handed down Judgment in the case of The Queen (on the application of S) v West Mercia Police.

He adjudged that the Chief Constable of West Mercia Police had acted unlawfully in disclosing information about S to the Criminal Records Bureau ('CRB').

Eubank’s Speeding Trial Draws to a Close

Today, local Law Firm, Beech Jones de Lloyd who represent former world champion Chris Eubank, achieved a great result – bringing to a close a series of ‘Driving’ charges levelled against the boxer dating back to 2007.

Following the conviction and subsequent disqualification of Mr Eubank on charges of speeding and of having no insurance, Beech Jones de Lloyd, the Wirral based firm, was instructed in September 08 when Mr. Eubank was charged with driving without insurance and driving while disqualified, a fact of which he was unaware. Following a review of evidence submitted by Beech Jones de Lloyd to the Crown Prosecution Service, in November the Prosecution discontinued the proceedings on both charges but re-charged Mr. Eubank with original charges from 2007...
